Great stay at the newly renovated Cove Creek Lodge. Room was clean and well appointed. Great mountain modern feel. Front desk staff was also very helpful. Will surely be back this Summer.

We had a great time! Great amenities for guests: pool, kayaks, outdoor patio with a bar, swings and deck chairs, kitchenette and sitting area in room, coffee in the morning. The sunrise over the misty lake from the private dock was beautiful. A short drive to DCL State Park and lots of restaurants. Don't miss Lakeside Creamery for homemade ice cream! Small things but worth sharing: I wish we could walk to nearby places; it's not very pedestrian friendly. Plus, you don't really get much of a view of the lake from the room (unless you're in the very corner perhaps) or the deck.

I needed to travel last minute into the area this month for a funeral, Cove Creek exceeded expectations and the room was gorgeous and larger than I expected. The front desk staff was accommodating and helpful to transfer the reservation when my sibling was not able to make it during the ice storm. Will definitely be back during the summer. Thank you!
